Pro Stocks

Added to the Weekend Warriors line up in 2015 was the North East Dirt Pro Stocks. Adding our first full dirt short track series to the mod enhances the game play for sim racers being able to race multiple styles of racing under our platform. The Pro Stocks have the latest technology in physics and bring the most realistic Pro Stock experience possible to rFactor. The rest are just a game. Running From Nothing Developments is excited to bring the first simulator quality Pro Stocks to rFactor and break through the barrier into a transition from asphalt to dirt simulation in the Weekend Warriors mod. Much pride and care was put into the making of this series much like all other series in Weekend Warriors. Our development team analyzed data and specifications from rule books to engine dyno results in order to build these car right!

The Weekend Warriors first taste of DIRT!

North East Dirt Pro Stock

While working on a dirt stock car division idea the development team decided since we started the asphalt side of things based off the north eastern region of the USA we would also do the same for dirt. At that point was when it was decided… the obvious choice for best dirt stock car in the north east is non other than DIRTcar Pro Stocks. The Pro Stocks were based off of the DIRTcar rule book in order to maintain as much realism as possible in the simulated environment! These cars are heavy v8 powered stock cars using dirt grand national style bodies and similar tires as the front tires of North East Dirt Modifieds. Racing is normally close and very competitive as the cars tend to dry out tracks quickly which produces even closer feature races on dry slick tracks! The biggest event on the tour is the final race of the season which is the Pro Stock portion of Super Dirt week which used to be hosted in Syracuse, New York at the New York State Fairgrounds which has since been shutdown. The event has moved to Oswego Speedway where dirt is laid down on top of the asphalt oval and has breathed new life into the historic event!
